Here’s What Happened During Last Month’s Development & Construction

Mack Urban’s project at 12th & Grand is finally off the ground. Construction workers are now on level 2 of what will eventually be a 37-story mixed-use tower. There will be 512 residential units, 10,000 square feet of ground-floor commercial space and a garage with 752 parking spots.

The Broadway Trade Center is really starting to clean up on the exterior. This week, two patches of cleaned brick were exposed on the southern facade. Though there is still much work to be done, Spectra Company has done an incredible job cleaning and restoring the 1906 facade so far.

E. on Grand, a seven-story by 4D Development & Investment is getting close to completion. Situated on the northwest corner of Pico & Grand, the new low rise will be adding 112 apartments to South Park later this year. The exterior does not seem to be popular amongst keyboard critics, as seen in the comments of this article.

Over in Hollywood, 1755 Argyle is quickly rising to its final height of 177 feet. The 18-story residential tower will bring 114 apartments, 201 parking spots, and 2,100 sq ft of retail space to Yucca and Argyle streets.
